The intertidal zone is a strip of sand that is left uncovered by the sea when the tide goes out. Take a stroll across the sands and discover a fragile ecosystem.
Cockle fishing is fabulous here, much appreciated by the locals, especially around the point of Chauveau.
Discovery mornings of the foreshore are held from June to September by the Association APNR to show you the wealth of the environment and also to inform you about good cockle fishing practice.
